A Little About Me

The one piece of advice I always give to employers or job seekers is:

As an employer in the temporary market you must be flexible. You need to look at the specifics of the temporary role and what is most important. You need to be able to make quick decisions on candidates as others will.

The biggest mistake I see employers or job seekers make is:

In the contract world candidates tend to go off the market quickly. When hiring a temp, the advice I would give is to hire off the resume or phone screen, which allows the process to move along. Too many times clients will want to do 1-2 rounds of in-person interviews for a temp position and the next thing you know the candidate they want to bring in is off the market.

The favorite part of my job is:

I would have to say the ability to network with clients in all industries to learn about their businesses. NYC is an interesting market full of great people.

My personal interests are:

I'm a sports fanatic: I coach my sons' t-ball and soccer teams, play softball, and rarely miss a Penn State (alma mater) football game. I also like to travel and am planning to visit Ireland and Italy in the near future.
